Job Description

Role Overview: The Procurement Professionals will play a vital role in managing the purchasing and supply chain processes across multiple projects and departments. This position demands individuals who can ensure that all procurement operations are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies. The professionals will support the sourcing of materials, negotiation with suppliers, and timely delivery of products and services essential to business operations in the UAE.

Procurement Administration: The Procurement Admin will handle all administrative functions within the purchasing department, including preparing purchase orders, maintaining supplier databases, and coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements. They will ensure accurate documentation, vendor compliance, and smooth communication between departments to keep operations running seamlessly. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills will be critical in managing multiple procurement files and supplier records simultaneously.

Procurement Engineering: The Procurement Engineer will focus on the technical and strategic aspects of sourcing, evaluating vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. This role requires working closely with engineering and project teams to define specifications, evaluate bids, and ensure materials meet technical and safety standards. The engineer will contribute to cost optimization by identifying alternative suppliers, implementing value engineering techniques, and maintaining long-term vendor relationships that align with company goals.

Vendor Management: A key responsibility for both Procurement Admins and Engineers will be establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The professionals will ensure that vendors meet performance standards, comply with contractual terms, and deliver goods on schedule. They will also assess vendor risks, negotiate better terms, and manage supplier evaluations to foster mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance procurement efficiency and reliability.

Strategic Procurement Planning: The position requires active participation in strategic planning and forecasting to anticipate future procurement needs. The professionals will analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to develop sourcing strategies that minimize costs without compromising quality. They will play a role in continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and contributing to the automation of procurement workflows through ERP systems or digital tools.

Collaboration and Reporting: The Procurement Professionals will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination across all procurement activities. They will be responsible for preparing reports, tracking key procurement metrics, and providing management with insights that support data-driven decision-making. This collaborative approach ensures that procurement aligns with project timelines and organizational objectives.
