Job Description
Strategic Procurement Management – ✦ The Procurement Officer plays a critical role in supporting aviation operations by managing the strategic sourcing and purchasing of spare parts, tools, and operational goods. This position ensures that all procurement activities align with company objectives, operational needs, and aviation industry standards.
Vendor Sourcing and Negotiation – ✦ You will identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers while negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and contractual terms to achieve cost efficiency and reliability. Maintaining strong supplier relationships is essential to ensure uninterrupted supply and favorable commercial agreements.
Procurement Lifecycle Coordination – ✦ The role involves managing the complete procurement cycle, including purchase requisitions, order placement, vendor communication, contract preparation, and financial evaluation. Accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies are key performance expectations.
Inventory and Engineering Coordination – ✦ You will work closely with engineering and stores teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring aircraft readiness and minimizing downtime. This includes forecasting material requirements and preventing shortages or excess stock.
Repair Order and Turnaround Control – ✦ The Procurement Officer manages repair orders with approved vendors, monitoring turnaround times and coordinating logistics to ensure timely return of serviceable components while controlling costs.
Logistics and Documentation Accuracy – ✦ You will resolve logistics challenges related to shipping, customs, and delivery while ensuring all procurement transactions are accurately recorded in the material accounting system in accordance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Budget Control – ✦ The role requires strict adherence to company procurement policies, budgetary controls, and aviation compliance standards. You will ensure transparency, traceability, and financial discipline across all procurement activities.
