Job Overview: As a Procurement Officer at Capital Ambulance UAE, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, identifying reliable vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining a seamless supply chain. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities: You will handle sourcing and purchasing of medical equipment, ambulance supplies, and other related items essential to our day-to-day operations. You’ll be tasked with preparing purchase orders, reviewing requisitions, and tracking deliveries. Strong documentation and reporting skills will be needed to maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.
Vendor Coordination: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers is crucial. You will regularly evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines. It will be your responsibility to ensure that suppliers meet the procurement standards set by Capital Ambulance UAE and align with our organizational goals.
Compliance & Cost Management: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and healthcare regulations. You will work closely with the finance department to monitor budgets and control costs. Maintaining ethical procurement practices and preventing wastage or overstocking is a key part of this role.
Inventory Monitoring: You will conduct regular assessments of stock levels to determine purchasing needs, ensuring our ambulances and medical facilities remain fully operational. Timely replenishment of inventory is essential for uninterrupted emergency response services.
Process Optimization: Your role will also involve analyzing current procurement strategies and recommending improvements. This includes adopting more cost-effective procedures, implementing automation tools for order tracking, and minimizing lead times while maintaining quality standards.
