About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our logistics team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing solutions while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives

Source and evaluate potential vendors, products, and services

Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value

Manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition to delivery

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important metrics

Monitor market trends, prices, and supplier performance

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures

Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers

Prepare and analyze procurement reports and documentation

Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics team

Handle supplier disputes and claim resolutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commerce, or related field

2-3 years of experience in procurement or similar role

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software

Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles

Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

Proven analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Previous supervisory or management experience

Meticulous attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards

Experience with ERP systems

Understanding of international trade regulations

Arabic and English language proficiency

Experience in logistics or supply chain management

Knowledge of Saudi Arabian market and business practices
