Role Overview – Asian Tiger Shipping LLC (ATS) is seeking an experienced Pricing and Procurement Executive to join our BLD Department specializing in ISO Tank operations. This position is ideal for professionals with shipping agency or freight forwarding experience who possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills and want to work with a professional logistics team in a dynamic global shipping environment.

Pricing Strategy and Management – You will develop and manage pricing strategies for ISO Tank services, analyze market rates and competitor pricing, prepare competitive quotations for clients, calculate cost structures including freight, handling, and ancillary charges, maintain pricing databases, ensure pricing accuracy and profitability, and support business development through strategic pricing decisions.

Procurement Operations – You will manage procurement activities for ISO Tank operations including sourcing service providers, negotiating contracts with vendors and carriers, coordinating equipment availability, managing supplier relationships, evaluating vendor performance, processing purchase orders, and ensuring cost-effective procurement that supports operational efficiency.

Rate Negotiation and Vendor Management – You will negotiate freight rates with shipping lines and carriers, secure competitive pricing from service providers, maintain strong vendor relationships, evaluate service quality, coordinate contract renewals, manage vendor agreements, and ensure optimal terms that balance cost efficiency with service reliability.

Cost Analysis and Budgeting – You will conduct detailed cost analysis for ISO Tank shipments, track operational expenses, analyze pricing trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, support budget planning, monitor spending against targets, prepare cost reports, and provide management with financial insights that support informed decision-making.

Client Quotations and Proposals – You will prepare comprehensive quotations for clients, respond to rate requests promptly, develop competitive proposals, explain pricing structures clearly, coordinate with operations and sales teams, customize pricing based on client requirements, and support sales efforts through accurate and timely pricing support.

Market Research and Analysis – You will monitor shipping industry trends, track market rate fluctuations, analyze competitor pricing strategies, identify emerging opportunities, assess market conditions affecting ISO Tank operations, gather intelligence on industry developments, and provide insights that inform pricing and procurement strategies.

Documentation and Reporting – You will maintain accurate pricing records, document vendor agreements, prepare procurement reports, track supplier performance metrics, generate pricing analysis reports, maintain organized documentation systems, and provide management with regular updates on pricing and procurement activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination – You will collaborate with operations, sales, finance, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between pricing, procurement, and operational execution. You will coordinate shipment requirements, communicate rate changes, support operational planning, and facilitate seamless information flow across departments.

Requirements – Proven experience in pricing and procurement within shipping agency or freight forwarding industry. Strong knowledge of ISO Tank operations, freight pricing structures, and logistics procurement processes. Excellent analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and attention to detail essential. Proficiency with pricing tools, MS Excel, and logistics software required. Strong communication and relationship management capabilities. Only experienced professionals from shipping and freight forwarding backgrounds will be considered.
