Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team at The Luxe Developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UAE's real estate development sector and will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement for our luxury development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets

Manage vendor relationships and maintain an updated database of qualified suppliers and contractors

Prepare and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms for procurement packages

Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and standards

Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes

Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, maintaining quality standards throughout the procurement lifecycle

Handle procurement-related documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules

Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality

Manage procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience in UAE real estate development projects

Proven track record in luxury residential and commercial development projects

Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and market conditions

Experience with procurement software and ERP systems

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are highly advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Construction Management or related field

Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management

Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED certification requirements

Knowledge of local and international procurement best practices
