We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a leading company, we are committed to excellence and innovation in the field of engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements and objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the field of engineering.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
