About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Science Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education following the British Curriculum while fostering a love for scientific inquiry among primary school students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the British Curriculum standards

Create and maintain a positive learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity and exploration

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress

Organize and supervise practical science experiments and activities

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities

Maintain laboratory safety standards and proper use of scientific equipment

Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and department initiatives

Support students' preparation for relevant examinations and assessments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education/Science or related field

Teaching qualification from a recognized institution

Proven experience teaching in British Curriculum schools within the UAE

Valid UAE teaching license or equivalency certification

Strong knowledge of primary science curriculum and pedagogy

Excellent classroom management skills

Proficiency in using educational technology

Strong command of English language

Preferred Criteria

Residency in Ajman or Sharjah

Immediate availability to start

Experience with UAE school inspection requirements

Additional certifications in science education

Experience with digital learning platforms
