Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education following the UK curriculum while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for our primary school students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the UK curriculum

Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes active learning

Use varied teaching methods to meet different learning styles and abilities

Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations

Provide constructive feedback to students and parents

Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress

Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Collaborate with other teachers to ensure curriculum consistency

Contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities program

Support the Islamic ethos of the school

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)

Experience teaching UK curriculum mathematics at primary level

Valid teaching license/certification

Excellent knowledge of UK primary mathematics curriculum

Strong understanding of assessment for learning strategies

Preferred Experience

Prior teaching experience in UK curriculum schools

Experience in international schools

Familiarity with UAE education system

Experience with educational technology and digital learning platforms

Skills & Competencies

Excellent classroom management skills

Strong communication abilities in English

Proficiency in using technology for education

Good organizational and planning skills

Ability to differentiate instruction for various learning needs

Strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Must be currently residing in UAE
