Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Precast Structural Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and engineering aspects of precast concrete structures, managing the process from concept design through basic design to fabrication and installation drawings. Your role involves managing a team of structural designers and engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop efficient and innovative precast solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of structural designers and engineers in the development of precast concrete structures.

Oversee the entire design process, including concept design, detailed design, and production drawings, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop efficient and innovative precast solutions that meet project requirements.

Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure seamless execution of design solutions.

Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues or challenges that may arise during the construction phase.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of design deliverables.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to precast concrete design and construction.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in structural design and engineering, with a focus on precast concrete structures.

Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and standards.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from concept to completion.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience working in the construction industry, particularly in the Middle East region, is preferred.
