Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager Portfolio Management & Project Governance will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and operationalizing the Portfolio Management Framework and PSPGs (Policies, Standards, Procedures, and Governance structures). They will ensure alignment of Programs, Projects, and SCRs (Small Change Requests) implementation across D&T (presumably Digital & Technology). The role involves close collaboration with the Head of PMO & Governance to facilitate PMO Governance forums and meetings, ensuring portfolio compliance, risk management, review, tracking, and timely delivery. The Senior Manager will also define and facilitate ITIL standard Change Management processes for Change Advisory Board (CAB), Incident, and Asset Management across Projects and SCRs. Additionally, they will oversee budget drawdown tracking and reporting, monitor utilization across Business units, and maintain a centralized repository of ITIL processes for continuity and accessibility.

Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project and portfolio management.

At least 5 years in a Senior Manager role focused on project governance, change management, and IT PMO (Program Management Office).

Experience in setting up and running PMO Portfolio Governance frameworks.

Proven track record of implementing and managing project governance frameworks in complex organizational environments, preferably in retail or competitive industries.

Cross-functional experience in managing technology portfolios, program management, and executing initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills:

Expertise in setting up and running PMO Portfolio Governance.

Advanced IT Vendor Management with KPI reporting proficiency.

Proficient in metrics and scorecards for portfolio management.

Experience with Portfolio Budget Drawdown (Capex Opex).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Strong understanding and application of ITIL frameworks.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proven ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
