Job Description: Planning Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of the project.

Monitor and track project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and management.

Identify potential delays and propose mitigation plans to ensure project timelines are met.

Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to gather project information and requirements.

Prepare and present progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor and verify project progress.

Assist in the preparation and submission of extension of time (EOT) claims and other project documentation.

Utilize project management software and tools to manage schedules and track project performance.

Support the project team with planning and scheduling expertise to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

Experience: More than 5 years of experience in the construction industry in the UAE.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Languages: Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques and tools.

Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other planning software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Preferred:

Availability: Candidates should be currently available in the UAE.

Nationality: Preference will be given to Arabic-speaking candidates.
