Job Overview:

Horizon Engineering is seeking an experienced Piping Designer for an urgent position in Abu Dhabi's dynamic oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, precision, and innovative design capabilities to our critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive piping design layouts and detailed engineering drawings

Create precise 2D and 3D piping system designs using advanced CAD software

Perform complex pipe routing and stress analysis

Ensure design compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Develop piping material specifications and bill of materials

Conduct technical reviews and design validations

Support project engineering teams during design and implementation phases

Participate in project meetings and technical discussions

Prepare technical documentation and design reports

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Minimum 3 years of piping design experience in oil and gas sector

Proficient in CAD design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SoGES)

Strong understanding of piping engineering principles

Knowledge of industry design codes and standards

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Detail-oriented approach to design and documentation

Technical Skills:

3D CAD modeling

Piping stress analysis

Material selection

Technical drawing

Engineering design standards

Pipe routing and layout

Performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional engineering certification

Additional certifications in piping design

Experience with international oil and gas projects
