Personal Assistant - HR Assistant to the Principal

Job Description

Executive Support to Principal: The Personal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Principal, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the school leadership level.

HR Administration & Staff Coordination: The HR Assistant responsibilities include managing HR records, coordinating staff onboarding and induction, maintaining personnel documentation, and supporting HR policies and compliance with school procedures.

Policy Management & Compliance: The candidate will ensure adherence to SPEA and other key school policies, assisting in policy implementation, tracking compliance, and supporting management in strategic HR initiatives.

Communication & Liaison: This role requires excellent communication skills to act as the first point of contact between the Principal, staff, parents, and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Project Support & Initiative: The candidate will contribute to school projects, events, and initiatives, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure timely and effective execution of tasks.

Record Keeping & Documentation: Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing presentations, reports, and HR-related documents, and ensuring that all documentation is filed and managed efficiently for quick retrieval.
