PureHealth is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. Role Purpose
As a Payroll Specialist, your main responsibility will be to handle end-to-end payroll operations in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies. You will manage payroll data, process employee compensations, and resolve any discrepancies related to salaries, benefits, and deductions. Your accuracy and timeliness will ensure employee satisfaction and maintain trust in the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
This role includes preparing and processing payroll for all employees, maintaining accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and taxes. You will also be responsible for validating timekeeping data, coordinating with HR for new hires and terminations, and ensuring all payroll-related changes are updated promptly. Generating payroll reports for internal auditing and compliance will also be part of your duties.
Compliance and Confidentiality
The Payroll Specialist must ensure strict compliance with UAE labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. This includes staying up to date with legal changes and ensuring accurate implementation within the payroll system. Maintaining confidentiality of employee data is a critical aspect of the role, and the candidate must demonstrate the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Collaboration and Communication
You will work closely with the Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure synchronization of data and smooth payroll processing. Effective communication is essential to address and resolve employee queries related to salary, benefits, and deductions. Your ability to explain payroll components clearly and professionally will help enhance employee trust and transparency.
Technical Skills and Tools
Proficiency in payroll software and Excel is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using automated payroll systems, with a strong understanding of payroll calculations, tax computations, and benefits administration. Familiarity with HRMS and ERP systems is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources, along with proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in the UAE. A minimum of 2–3 years in a similar role is typically expected. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential traits for this position.
