Randstad is recruiting on behalf of a major international operator for an experienced Payroll Officer to join on a fully remote, casual contract basis and hit the ground running. This is a streamlined, pure-play payroll execution role with a clear and focused scope, covering end-to-end payroll processing for a national workforce without the complexity of legislative reporting or higher-level strategic duties. In this role, you will manage accurate, end-to-end payroll processing for a national workforce, maintaining payroll data integrity and resolving day-to-day payroll queries as they arise. You will collaborate virtually with broader finance and HR teams, contributing to a smooth, well-functioning payroll operation from your home office. The focus here is clear and the function is already running well. Your job is to keep it that way.

The ideal candidate brings strong, hands-on experience using ADP Payforce, which is an essential requirement for a seamless transition into this role. Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of end-to-end payroll processing is equally critical. Exposure to Workday is a significant bonus and will be viewed very favourably, though it is not a dealbreaker. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment without close supervision.

This role offers one hundred percent remote flexibility, a three-month casual contract with a strong likelihood of extension to six months based on performance and business need, and a streamlined focus that lets you concentrate on what you do best without the distraction of complex compliance reporting.
