Role Overview – Al Thuriah is hiring a Payroll Officer for a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah. This position is ideal for experienced payroll professionals with strong financial expertise, human resources knowledge, and the ability to manage payroll operations effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, process payments accurately, maintain records, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic business organization.

Payroll Processing and Administration – You will process payroll by calculating salaries, managing deductions, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy. You will deliver accurate and timely payroll supporting employee satisfaction. You should maintain payroll processing proficiency.

Salary Calculation and Computation – You will calculate salaries by computing gross pay, applying deductions, calculating taxes, and processing net pay. You will ensure accurate salary calculation. You should maintain calculation accuracy.

UAE Labor Law Compliance – You will ensure compliance with UAE labor law by maintaining knowledge of regulations, implementing compliant practices, tracking changes, and maintaining documentation. You will support legal payroll operations and regulatory adherence. You should be expert in UAE labor law.

Wage Protection System Compliance – You will ensure Wage Protection System compliance by understanding requirements, implementing compliant processes, and maintaining required documentation. You will support UAE WPS requirements. You should understand WPS compliance.

Federal Tax Authority Compliance – You will support FTA compliance by understanding requirements, implementing procedures, and maintaining proper documentation. You will ensure tax compliance. You should understand FTA requirements.

Benefits Administration and Coordination – You will administer benefits by managing benefit programs, processing enrollments, calculating benefits, and coordinating with providers. You will support accurate benefits delivery. You should manage benefits administration.

Deduction Processing and Management – You will process deductions by calculating amounts, applying appropriately, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accuracy. You will manage diverse deduction types. You should process deductions accurately.
