Payroll Manager

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation while maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across the organization

Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software

Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls

Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure data accuracy

Prepare and submit statutory reports to relevant government authorities

Process gratuity calculations and final settlements for exiting employees

Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly

Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy

Stay updated on UAE labor laws and implement changes as required

Manage and train the payroll team to ensure operational excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in healthcare or similar large organizations

Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, WPS (Wage Protection System), and payroll regulations

Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems

Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail

Strong problem-solving abilities and process improvement mindset

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

ACCA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus
