GoGlobal

Payroll Expert – Remote

Job Description

GoGlobal is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mexico Payroll Expert to own the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of Mexico payroll for its growing client portfolio. As a leading people-first international HR and Employer of Record service provider operating in over 140 countries across six continents, GoGlobal is expanding its in-house payroll capability in Mexico and this is a hands-on, technical payroll processing role for someone who brings deep Mexico payroll knowledge and is ready to apply it in a fast-paced, global services environment.

In this role, you will own end-to-end processing of Mexico payrolls for a portfolio of GoGlobal clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery every pay period. You will process payroll inputs including starters, leavers, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, deductions, and attendance records, calculate employee net pay based on applicable taxes and statutory deductions, and generate and distribute payslips accurately and promptly. You will prepare final calculations for leavers, maintain payroll processing systems and records, and complete payroll reports for record-keeping, internal review, and client reporting. On the compliance side, you will maintain strong working knowledge of Mexico payroll regulations, statutory filing requirements, social security obligations, and CFDI electronic payroll stamping requirements, register and deregister employees with relevant local authorities, and work with platforms including SUA, SIPARE, and IDSE. You will act as a client-facing payroll contact, lead client calls, liaise with client HR and finance teams, support new client onboarding and go-live activity, conduct pre and post-payroll checks, and contribute to SOP documentation, process improvement, and cross-training initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings five or more years of hands-on Mexico payroll processing experience with deep knowledge of statutory filing requirements, payroll-related tax, social security, and employee lifecycle obligations in Mexico. Direct experience with SUA, SIPARE, and IDSE, and proven compliance with CFDI and electronic stamping requirements are essential. You are comfortable working remotely and independently, managing multiple payroll cycles and client deadlines simultaneously, and you communicate clearly in English with both payroll and non-payroll stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems, comfort with AI-assisted tools, and experience in a payroll bureau, outsourced payroll, EOR, or multi-client payroll environment are all strongly preferred.
