Patient Relations Coordinator

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Relations Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between our healthcare facility and our patients. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English, with a strong background in customer service and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in both Arabic and English

Manage patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out processes while ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate

Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care delivery

Handle patient feedback, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently, working to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships

Assist with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and basic administrative tasks related to patient care

Required Qualifications

Native or professional fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal)

Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare setting or hospitality industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service orientation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare facility

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Background in patient advocacy or customer relations
