Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Orthopedic Specialist to join our medical team at Amina Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to the musculoskeletal system.

Required Qualifications

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution

Specialty certification in Orthopedic Surgery

Valid MOH (Ministry of Health) License

Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience

Strong record of clinical excellence and patient care

Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills preferred

Valid medical practice license in the region

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat disorders, injuries, and diseases of the musculoskeletal system

Perform surgical procedures when necessary, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture repairs

Conduct patient consultations and follow-up visits

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans

Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals

Participate in on-call rotation as required

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Contribute to department meetings and hospital initiatives

Stay current with latest developments in orthopedic medicine

Working Conditions

Full-time position

Regular clinic hours with on-call responsibilities

May require working on weekends and holidays as per rotation
