Oracle ERP DBA Immediate Joiners

Job Description:

ECSME LLC is looking for an experienced Oracle ERP DBA to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud, and will be responsible for providing database standards, security, and administration tasks. This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of Oracle ERP systems and the ability to manage, monitor, and upgrade these systems efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Database Administration:

Provide standards for database administration and use.

Guide, assess, and approve new database designs.

Define rules for data access and monitor its security.

Oracle E-Business Suite Management:

Upgrade Oracle ERP E-business suite from R12.1.3 (Oracle Linux) to R12.2.10 (Redhat Linux).

Familiar with retrofit customization development.

Manage Oracle E-Business Suite in Oracle Cloud.

Installation & Patching:

Install, patch, and upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

Use AD utilities effectively.

Perform cloning and patching of applications and databases.

Sysadmin Activities:

Handle user administration responsibilities, request groups, register forms, printer setup, register custom applications, etc.

Implement 24x7 production support procedures.

Database Management:

Create database users and maintain password rights.

Perform backup and recovery, using RMAN and both hot and cold backups.

Monitor databases using OEM and custom scripts.

Manage database locks, space management, export and import of the database, performance tuning at DB and apps Level.

Workflow & Monitoring:

Manage, monitor, and configure workflow.

Ensure backup and cleanup of various log files.

Use OEM and custom scripts for monitoring.

Troubleshooting:

Provide excellent troubleshooting skills to address and resolve database-related issues.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge in OBIEE, WebLogic, SQL server, SOA, Agile, Hyperion, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering.

8 - 12 years of relevant experience.

Nationality:

Indian, Pakistani.

Skills:

Expertise in Oracle Database 11g and 12c.

In-depth knowledge of concurrent managers.

Proficiency in sysadmin activities related to Oracle E-Business Suite.

Strong skills in backup and recovery procedures.

Excellent performance tuning capabilities.

Additional Requirements:

Immediate joiners preferred.

Must have good troubleshooting skills.

Ability to handle 24x7 production support.

Compensation & Benefits:

Monthly Salary:

AED 15,000 - 20,000 ($4,051 - $5,401)
