Operations Supervision & Oversight: As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day operations in our Dubai-based logistics office. This includes managing the entire flow of import and export processes, ensuring each shipment meets internal quality standards, and coordinating with the warehouse team to achieve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate must demonstrate hands-on experience and proven ability to prioritize and execute operational tasks under tight timelines.

Import/Export & Warehouse Coordination: You will be responsible for managing both the import and export sides of logistics operations. This includes tracking shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, ensuring on-time customs clearance, and supervising warehouse activities. The role demands precision, efficiency, and a high level of coordination to meet the fast-paced demands of logistics operations in the UAE.

Documentation & Compliance: One of the primary functions of this role is to ensure all documents are accurately processed in accordance with UAE customs regulations. You must be experienced in handling Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin, along with Calogi platform proficiency. Knowledge of Dubai Trade, Dubai Chamber, and Dubai Customs procedures is essential for success in this position.

Vendor & Authority Liaison: Your role will require direct communication with external stakeholders including freight forwarders, customs officials, vendors, and clients. Strong communication skills are necessary to maintain professional relationships and resolve any documentation or shipment-related issues efficiently. Being a liaison between departments and vendors is key to maintaining streamlined processes.

Team Management & Shift Leadership: Supervising operational teams will be part of your daily responsibilities. You must be able to guide team members, manage shift handovers effectively, and monitor team KPIs to ensure performance standards are met. Supporting the development and accountability of team members while maintaining a positive and results-driven work environment is essential.

Operational Problem-Solving: This role requires a proactive approach to managing issues that arise during operational processes. Whether it’s delayed shipments, system downtimes, or vendor miscommunication, you will be responsible for resolving issues quickly to avoid workflow disruptions. You will also collaborate with internal departments to implement process improvements.
