About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within our tourism and entertainment facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, maintain high service standards, and optimize processes while managing a diverse team of staff members.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth running of all departments and maintaining high service standards

Manage, train, and develop a team of supervisors and staff members across various operational units

Create and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction

Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining quality standards

Coordinate with various departments including maintenance, security, housekeeping, and guest services

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and other relevant UAE regulations

Handle guest feedback and complaints, implementing improvements based on customer insights

Prepare and analyze operational reports and metrics for senior management

Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes

Plan and coordinate special events and seasonal activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 5-7 years of operations management experience in tourism, hospitality, or entertainment sector

Proven track record in team leadership and staff development

Strong understanding of UAE tourism and entertainment industry standards

Experience in budget management and cost control

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are highly advantageous

Current UAE residency is mandatory

Desired Skills

Knowledge of relevant software systems (PMS, scheduling, inventory management)

Strong customer service orientation

Crisis management experience

Event management expertise

Understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations

HACCP certification or similar operational certifications
