Operations Manager

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations

Manage daily logistics and transportation activities

Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency

Coordinate with shipping partners, vendors, and internal teams

Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations

Monitor and improve operational performance metrics

Manage team performance and provide leadership

Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational challenges

Prepare operational reports and performance analysis

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management

Proven track record in freight forwarding industry

Strong understanding of international shipping processes

Proficiency in logistics management software

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Arabic language proficiency

Experience in UAE or Middle Eastern logistics market

Advanced logistics certifications
