Job Overview

Our leading logistics company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate complex freight forwarding operations

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency

Supervise logistics team and daily operational activities

Oversee shipping, transportation, and cargo handling processes

Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations

Manage vendor and client relationships

Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics

Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Coordinate documentation and customs clearance processes

Requirements

Professional Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain management

Proven track record in freight forwarding operations

Strong understanding of international shipping protocols

Advanced operational management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Preferred Skills

Arabic language proficiency (advantage)

UAE residency mandatory

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Proficiency in logistics management software

Analytical and strategic thinking

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Advanced knowledge of global shipping regulations

Experience with international freight documentation

Strong organizational and multitasking skills
