Role Overview – Dar Al Hakim Shipping LLC is hiring an Operations Executive in Dubai. This position is ideal for freight forwarding and logistics professionals who can support operations, coordinate shipments, manage documentation, and ensure smooth execution of shipping and logistics activities.

Shipment Coordination – You will coordinate shipments by managing bookings, arranging transportation, tracking cargo movements, liaising with carriers and agents, and ensuring smooth execution of import and export activities across air, sea, and land transportation modes.

Documentation Management – You will manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documents, certificates of origin, and other paperwork required for international freight movement. Proper documentation ensures regulatory compliance and smooth cargo clearance.

Customer Communication – You will communicate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, delivery schedules, quotations, and addressing inquiries. Professional communication ensures customer satisfaction and maintains strong client relationships.

Carrier and Agent Coordination – You will coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs agents, and overseas partners to arrange cargo movement, obtain quotations, resolve issues, and ensure seamless collaboration across the freight forwarding network.

Operations Support – You will support freight forwarding operations by assisting with bookings, preparing quotations, updating systems, maintaining records, and handling various tasks that ensure efficient logistics operations.

Customs Clearance Coordination – You will coordinate customs clearance activities by preparing customs documentation, liaising with customs authorities and brokers, tracking clearance progress, and ensuring cargo clears customs efficiently.

Rate Negotiation Support – You will support rate negotiations by obtaining quotations from carriers, comparing rates, preparing pricing information, and assisting with competitive pricing for customers.

Problem Resolution – You will assist in resolving operational issues such as shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, cargo damages, or customer concerns by coordinating with relevant parties and implementing solutions.

Operations Experience – Operations experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or related fields is required. Understanding of shipping operations, documentation requirements, and logistics processes is important.

Freight Forwarding Knowledge – Knowledge of freight forwarding including air freight, sea freight, land transportation, and multimodal logistics supports effective operations coordination.
