About the Role:

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary allied health team. Clinical Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapist will assess patients' functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients regain independence following illness, injury, or disability through customized rehabilitation programs.

Patient-Centered Care:

You will collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. The role involves educating patients and families on adaptive techniques while documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans according to therapeutic outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and possess valid UAE licensure (DHA/HAAD/MOH). Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Technical Competencies:

The position requires proficiency in functional capacity evaluations, adaptive equipment prescription, and cognitive rehabilitation techniques. Experience with pediatric, geriatric, or neurological patient populations will be considered an advantage.
