Duties & Responsibilities:

King's College Hospital London – UAE is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the OBGYN Outpatient Department (OPD). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology nursing, providing exceptional patient care and supporting women's health.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the OBGYN OPD, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.

Medical Procedures: Assist doctors during medical examinations, procedures, and treatments related to obstetrics and gynecology.

Health Education: Educate patients on women's health issues, including family planning, reproductive health, and prenatal care.

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions, document findings, and develop individualized care plans.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring all patient information is documented appropriately.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies within the department.

Equipment Management: Ensure all medical equipment is in good working condition and properly sterilized.

Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited institution.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology.

Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge of women's health issues and OBGYN nursing practices.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
