Job Description

TGC Middle East, a multinational company renowned for its advanced industrial products and services in the energy and mobility sectors, is seeking an experienced NDI Inspector. This role involves working with stainless steel and high-nickel alloy products, ensuring quality and compliance through non-destructive inspection techniques.

Key Responsibilities

NDI Inspections: Conduct non-destructive inspections (NDI) on stainless steel and CRA (corrosion-resistant alloy) components and materials, following established procedures and industry standards.

NDT Techniques: Utilize various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), and radiographic testing (RT), to detect defects, cracks, and other imperfections.

Result Interpretation: Analyze and evaluate test results to determine conformity to specifications and quality standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate NDI equipment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of inspection results.

Technical Support: Work closely with engineering and production teams to address NDI-related issues, provide technical support, and assist in root cause analysis of defects.

Reporting: Generate detailed inspection reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.

Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements during all NDI activities.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance NDI processes, efficiency, and quality control measures.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in the oil and gas industry.

Education: Mechanical trade certification or diploma in a related field.

Certification: NDT Level II certification as per ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) standards.

Technical Knowledge: Extensive understanding of NDT techniques and their applications in the oil and gas sector. Experience in inspecting stainless steel and CRA alloys is preferred.

Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex technical specifications and drawings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in inspection and reporting.
