Role Overview: The MRI Radiographer will play a critical role in delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services within a multi-specialty clinical setting. This position focuses on performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring that each examination supports accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. The role demands strong technical expertise combined with a compassionate approach to patient interaction, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidence throughout the imaging process.

Diagnostic Imaging Responsibilities: The role involves independently conducting MRI examinations using magnetic resonance technology, radiofrequency pulses, and dynamic functional imaging techniques. The radiographer will be responsible for preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and selecting appropriate imaging protocols to achieve high-quality diagnostic results. Close attention to detail is essential to ensure that images meet clinical standards and are suitable for interpretation by Radiologists.

Patient Safety and Care: Ensuring patient safety is a core responsibility of this role. The MRI Radiographer will strictly adhere to statutory regulations, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols. This includes screening patients for contraindications, managing contrast media when required, and responding calmly and effectively to patient concerns or emergencies during imaging procedures.

Clinical Collaboration: The position requires close collaboration with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to support timely clinical decision-making. The radiographer will communicate imaging findings, clarify technical considerations, and assist healthcare professionals in understanding the diagnostic value of MRI studies. This collaborative approach helps improve diagnostic accuracy and enhances overall patient outcomes.

Operational Excellence: The MRI Radiographer will contribute to the efficient operation of the diagnostic imaging department by managing daily workloads, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. The role includes documenting procedures accurately, managing patient records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and workflow efficiency.
