Mobility Specialist – Remote

29k to 74k (USD) - Per Year

Job Description

Remote is looking for a Mobility Specialist to join its Onboarding and Mobility team at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. As the all-in-one global HR platform that eliminates barriers to international hiring, Remote is on a mission to ensure that great companies can work with great people no matter where they are, and the Mobility team sits at the heart of that mission. This is a unique opportunity to impact the global employment landscape directly, working with clients on immigration compliance, visa and work permit applications, and global mobility strategy in an organisation that is reshaping how the world hires.

In this role, you will provide legal and strategic guidance to clients on immigration compliance service delivery, monitoring and controlling Remote's products and services for immigration compliance. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, analyse, prepare, and submit visa and work permit applications, and independently maintain and monitor immigration law to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory changes. You will handle escalations appropriately, determine solutions, and guide stakeholders to timely resolutions, counsel on business travel and sponsorship cases, and control case statuses through case management and billing systems. Proactively improving processes through automation and documentation will also be an important part of how you contribute to the team.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles with a strong focus on immigration, alongside a comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and compliance processes. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrate composure and efficiency under pressure, and have the flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and processes. Experience in the technology sector or a company undergoing rapid growth is highly desirable, as is prior remote or asynchronous working experience. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and additional languages are a welcome plus.

Remote's compensation philosophy is built on fairness, pay equity, and paying above in-location rates to support global talent hiring and bring local wealth to developing countries. The salary range for this role reflects Remote's geo-differential model, with actual pay determined by location, experience, and skills.

Salary: USD 29,450 to 74,500 per annum, geo-adjusted based on location
