Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Support Engineer specialized in Kony to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing technical maintenance and support for business applications, ensuring their reliability and maximizing their business benefits. This role is essential in maintaining application services as per agreed availability and capacity, particularly within the financial and banking industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Maintenance and Support:

Provide ongoing technical maintenance and usage support for business applications to maintain their reliability and business benefits.

Ensure business application services are maintained as per agreed availability and capacity.

Track and resolve pending issues as per the agreed priority and timelines.

Coordinate and provide on-call support for applications maintained by the Application Service Operations Team.

Reporting and Coordination:

Update superiors on the status of overall issues and resolutions as per the reporting structure.

Maintain updated knowledge of relevant technology, equipment, and systems.

Application Support:

In-depth knowledge of Websites, Internet & Mobile banking applications.

Knowledge of Kony/Temenos Infinity Fabric platform required; Kony certification desired.

Knowledge of Progress Sitefinity platform an added advantage.

Knowledge of Apple, Google, and Huawei stores and app publishing required.

Knowledge of mobile device management and security processes an advantage.

Knowledge of Website Platforms and IIS administration an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of .Net, JAVA & Unix shell scripting an advantage.

Knowledge & experience in MS SQL DB scripting required.

Technical knowledge of the Kony mobile platform.

Understanding of SQL and Oracle databases.

Experience in troubleshooting IIS.

Experience with websites and Internet banking platforms.

Familiarity with app submissions and certificate renewal processes.

Knowledge of Web layer & App layers.

Understanding of the IT change management process.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in the financial/banking industry preferred.

ITIL certification is an advantage.
