Position Overview:

Dicetek LLC is seeking an experienced Microservices Support Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting REST APIs and microservices, particularly within large-scale fintech or banking deployments. This role requires strong expertise in supporting Red Hat OpenShift container platforms, Docker containers, Linux administration, and monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnose and resolve issues related to REST APIs and microservices.

Provide support for Red Hat OpenShift container platform and Docker containers.

Assist in troubleshooting issues with Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS (certifications in these areas are advantageous).

2. Linux Administration:

Perform Linux administration tasks, including support and diagnosis.

Implement and adhere to security best practices related to IAM, KMS, encryption, PKI, SSL, and TLS.

Maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security (Linux certification is advantageous).

3. Monitoring and Analysis:

Utilize monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Splunk.

Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

4. Security and Compliance:

Ensure systems and processes comply with security best practices and standards.

Manage and secure API gateways (3-Scale/APIGEE, WSO2, or similar) for microservices.

5. Collaboration and Documentation:

Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of microservices.

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7-10 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on microservices and REST APIs.

Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift container platform and Docker containers.

Proficiency in Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS (certifications preferred).

In-depth knowledge of Linux administration, support, and diagnosis (Linux certification preferred).

Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Splunk.

Strong understanding of security best practices, including IAM, KMS, encryption, PKI, SSL, and TLS.

Experience with API gateways (3-Scale/APIGEE, WSO2, or similar) for microservices.
