Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified MEP Supervisor to join our team. The MEP Supervisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure the provision of world-class service, enhance asset lifespan, and maintain operating expenditure within budget.

Key Accountabilities:

Budget Management:

Support in managing and adhering to the budget.

Ensure expenditure is controlled and budgets are met.

Event Coordination:

Coordinate events and issue Permit-to-Work (PTW) as required.

Maintenance and Planning:

Ensure completion of PM/RM Service tasks in the CAFM system as per SLA.

Implement and monitor routine preventive maintenance tasks.

Operational Support:

Manage technical operations of the facility effectively.

Allocate the team for jobs based on requirements and ensure completion within the timeframe.

Prepare reports related to MEP services.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality services and records.

Familiarize and adhere to the company's engineering QA procedures and processes.

Staff Training and Development:

Support in training and development of staff.

Provide onsite technical training.

Risk Management:

Identify potential hazards in the workplace and report risks to management.

Follow operational, environmental, and occupational risk identification procedures.

Client Coordination:

Coordinate with clients and complete necessary reactive work.

Develop a clear understanding of the community infrastructure and MEP systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

Support in all kinds of document control.

Report to the line manager regularly regarding workload, quality of workmanship, and key issues.

Resource Management:

Effectively manage technical resources and coordinate with external service providers.

Plan for necessary spare parts, materials, and tools required for day-to-day operations.

HSQE Compliance:

Ensure all staff adhere to the HSQE policy.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

Essential: Secondary education plus a recognized technical qualification.

Desirable: Technical Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in the same role and industry.

Hands-on experience in maintaining MEP systems, particularly in large infrastructure installations and high-rise buildings.

Skills and Abilities:

Valid UAE Driving License.

Ability to read and understand drawings/manuals.

IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Technical expertise to schedule work and complete within the contractual SLA.

Ownership and dedication to maintenance team goals.

Ability to maintain specialized systems (e.g., Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Lifts) through vendors.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship-building skills.

Ability to plan and execute additional project works.

Ability to provide accurate feedback to management.

Understand and communicate effectively in English.
