Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Oversight: As an MEP Inspector, you will be responsible for supervising all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on-site, ensuring that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and international standards. Your role is vital in maintaining quality and safety across multiple disciplines.

On-Site Supervision: You will regularly conduct inspections of MEP activities, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, firefighting systems, and plumbing works. By monitoring progress and verifying contractor workmanship, you will help guarantee that the project stays on track and meets client expectations.

Material Verification and Testing: This role requires checking MEP materials delivered to site against approved submittals. You will confirm quality certificates, witness material testing, and ensure compliance with project specifications before installations proceed.

Safety and Compliance Monitoring: The MEP Inspector will enforce health, safety, and environmental standards during mechanical and electrical works. You will monitor safe installation practices, especially in high-risk tasks like electrical connections, firefighting systems, and pressurized piping.

Coordination Across Disciplines: You will liaise between civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Strong coordination skills will be needed to prevent conflicts between different trades and to maintain harmony in site execution.

Reporting and Documentation: A core responsibility will be preparing inspection reports, checklists, and progress documentation for submission to the resident engineer. Accurate reporting ensures transparency and helps management make informed decisions.
