Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary with proven UAE healthcare experience to join our team at Central Hospital, Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to medical staff while ensuring efficient patient service and smooth clinic operations.
Required Experience
1-2 years of healthcare experience (mandatory)
UAE healthcare experience (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and filing systems
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about hospital services
Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient schedules and requirements
Process medical documentation and reports
Manage correspondence between departments and external healthcare providers
Handle insurance-related documentation and verifications
Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection
Coordinate medical staff schedules and meetings
Prepare and organize medical reports and presentations
Handle billing queries and insurance-related matters
Maintain office supplies and equipment
Required Skills
Proficient in medical terminology
Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare systems and procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in hospital management software systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced computer skills including MS Office
Professional communication abilities in English
Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Understanding of medical insurance procedures
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
