Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Technician at Engie Solutions Middle East, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment across assigned facilities. Your daily work will involve troubleshooting issues, replacing faulty components, lubricating moving parts, and ensuring optimal equipment performance to support operational efficiency.

Technical Expertise: This role demands in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, HVAC units, piping systems, and rotating machinery. You will be expected to interpret technical manuals, follow engineering drawings, and apply industry best practices to resolve faults effectively and prevent equipment downtime.

Maintenance Operations: You will oversee routine inspections, calibration of mechanical instruments, and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed diligently. Timely completion of work orders, accurate recording of maintenance logs, and compliance with quality standards are key expectations.

Safety Compliance: Maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority. You will adhere strictly to safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE, and report hazards immediately. Knowledge of local and international safety standards is essential to ensure all mechanical work meets regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration: This role requires close coordination with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors. You will work alongside electrical and plumbing teams, contributing to a cohesive maintenance strategy that ensures minimal operational disruption.

Problem-Solving: Diagnosing faults requires both technical skill and creative thinking. You will be expected to analyze recurring mechanical issues, recommend long-term solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
