About the Role:

Al Ghurair Foods is urgently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to maintain and optimize our food processing machinery. This critical role ensures operational continuity through expert equipment maintenance in our fast-paced production environment.

Technical Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Technician will perform detailed inspections, diagnose mechanical failures, and execute preventive maintenance on industrial food processing equipment. Your expertise will minimize downtime by troubleshooting complex machinery issues and implementing effective repair solutions.

Industry-Specific Requirements:

Candidates must possess minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within food manufacturing or related industries. Prior exposure to broiler systems, industrial ovens, or thermal processing equipment will be given significant preference during selection.

Operational Excellence:

Your role demands thorough knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyor mechanisms, and industrial gearboxes. The ability to interpret technical manuals and work with precision tools is essential for maintaining our high equipment performance standards.

Safety Compliance:

The position requires strict adherence to food safety protocols (HACCP) during all maintenance activities. You will follow lockout-tagout procedures and ensure all work complies with UAE occupational health and safety regulations.

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on role in a temperature-controlled production facility with rotating shifts. The successful candidate must demonstrate physical stamina for equipment servicing and the ability to work under pressure during peak production periods.
