Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Multi-Discipline Inspector for our Oil & Gas operations in Oman, responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications through comprehensive inspection activities.

Valid certifications:

CSWIP (Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel)

BGAS (British Gas Approved Scheme)

NDT Level-II certificates

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical equipment and systems

Perform material inspection and verification

Execute welding inspection and quality control

Carry out painting and coating inspections

Conduct valve inspections and assessments

Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation

Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications

Identify and report potential issues or non-conformances

Technical Competencies

Extensive knowledge of material inspection techniques

Advanced understanding of welding processes and inspection

Expertise in painting and coating inspection

Comprehensive knowledge of valve inspection procedures

Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards and specifications

Proficiency in NDT techniques

Strong understanding of quality control procedures

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail

Excellent technical report writing abilities

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently and in teams

Strong problem-solving capabilities

Safety-conscious mindset

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection

Proven track record in Oil & Gas industry

Demonstrated expertise in multiple inspection disciplines
