The company specializes in delivering advanced construction solutions across key sectors, including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire Protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Lead to join their team on Data Centre Projects in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

Site Safety & QA: Manage site safety and quality assurance (QA) in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including the setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.

Project Management: Oversee the project schedule and all associated costs, ensuring efficient day-to-day on-site operations.

Sub-Contractor Management: Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedules, monitoring manpower levels, and ensuring weekly meetings with sub-contractors are minuted.

Documentation: Maintain up-to-date sub-contractor documentation, including safety documents, and ensure they are filed for future reference.

Reporting: Issue weekly safety statistics, project labor projections, and manage the "In Progress" snagging system with regular updates from supervisors.

Commercial Management: Hold weekly commercial meetings with the team to capture all variations and ensure costs are issued to the client.

Project Closeout: Ensure the successful closeout of all project items, including Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, and Material and Plant relocations.

Requirements

Education/Experience: A trade background with relevant work experience or a relevant engineering qualification.

Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical systems.

Experience: Over 5 years of previous experience in an Engineering role with a proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.

Specialized Experience: Data Centre experience is highly desirable.

Passport: EU Passport holder required.
