Mechanical Design Expertise: The selected Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing mechanical designs specifically tailored for road and drainage infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role involves deep technical collaboration with the design and engineering team, ensuring all designs align with QCS and Ashghal procedures.

Drainage and Infrastructure Focus: You will be tasked with the design and integration of drainage pumping stations and their associated systems including HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.

Technical Calculations and Documentation: The role requires the development and validation of complex hydraulic, HVAC, and Firefighting calculations, ensuring accuracy and reliability for implementation. You will also be responsible for producing technical reports and detailed design documentation for internal review and submission to authorities.

Regulatory Compliance: The candidate must be familiar with QCS standards and Ashghal protocols, applying them to all stages of mechanical design and review. You will ensure that all plans and designs meet both local and international codes where applicable.

Cross-Functional Coordination: This role includes working closely with electrical, civil, and environmental engineers to ensure a seamless integration of systems within project designs. Your contribution will be critical to achieving project milestones efficiently.

Project Support and Oversight: The successful applicant may also be involved in on-site project coordination, inspection, and supervision, ensuring that construction works are aligned with design intent and engineering standards.
