Role Overview: As a Mason, you will be responsible for carrying out skilled construction, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of structures. You will perform tasks such as bricklaying, plastering, tile setting, concrete work, and stone masonry, ensuring all work meets the company’s quality and safety standards.

Masonry Construction: You will handle the preparation and laying of bricks, blocks, and stones, interpreting technical drawings, and following detailed specifications. Your ability to work precisely with different materials will be essential in delivering strong and durable results.

Repair & Maintenance: In addition to new construction, you will conduct repair and restoration work on walls, flooring, and other structural elements. This includes identifying damage, sourcing appropriate materials, and performing repairs that blend seamlessly with existing structures.

Finishing & Detailing: Your role will require applying finishing touches such as smooth plastering, precise tile alignment, and clean joint sealing. Attention to detail is critical, ensuring that all completed work is aesthetically pleasing and meets the client’s expectations.

Tool & Material Handling: You will be responsible for selecting the correct tools and materials for each job, mixing cement or mortar to the right consistency, and maintaining your equipment in good working order. Knowledge of modern masonry techniques and materials will be an advantage.

Safety & Teamwork: You must follow all workplace safety regulations, wearing protective equipment and ensuring safe practices are followed at all times. Coordination with supervisors, engineers, and other trades will be required to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
