About the Role:

Ensemble Offspring, Australia’s leading new music group, is seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a passionate storyteller with a flair for digital marketing, social media, writing, and PR. As part of our small but vibrant team, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our artistic vision, engaging audiences, and celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications Planning: Develop and implement seasonal marketing strategies aligned with Ensemble Offspring’s Strategic Plan, working closely with leadership.

Content Creation & Digital Management: Manage the website (Squarespace), create compelling copy, oversee social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and produce engaging digital assets.

Event Promotions & Audience Engagement: Drive event marketing campaigns, coordinate invitations, conduct audience surveys, and manage ticketing, box office, and Front of House operations for Sydney events.

Media & PR Relations: Build and maintain strong media relationships, oversee PR activities, and manage printed marketing materials.

Performance Tracking & Fundraising Support: Analyse marketing data to inform strategies, maintain databases, and assist with grant applications and fundraising initiatives.

Essential Selection Criteria:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in website management (Squarespace, SEO), social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and email marketing (MailChimp).

Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and coordinate marketing efforts in a multidisciplinary environment.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a small team setting.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or 2-3 years of marketing experience in an Arts or Not-for-Profit organisation.
