Position Overview: NWS International is actively seeking talented and experienced Managing Quantity Surveyors / Cost Managers to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project budgets, conducting tender evaluations, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms. The candidate will oversee cost reporting, value engineering, and procurement processes while liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently and within budget.
Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Expertise: Candidates should possess deep experience across all project phases, from initial feasibility studies and tender documentation to contract administration and final account settlements. A strong background in both pre-contract and construction stage work is essential, ensuring effective project planning and control from inception to completion.
Leadership and Team Coordination: As a senior professional, the Managing Quantity Surveyor will lead a team of cost engineers and junior surveyors, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and oversight. The role requires exceptional leadership qualities to manage resources efficiently, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain high performance standards across project deliverables.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
