Job Overview:
GM Solutions is seeking an exceptional senior executive to lead their used car operations across the GCC region. This high-level role demands a seasoned automotive industry leader with extensive experience in managing large-scale used car superstores and driving strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume full strategic and financial accountability for used car operations
Manage comprehensive P&L, operational expenditure (opex), and capital expenditure (capex)
Design and implement strategic growth initiatives across multi-location operations
Lead recruitment, training, and development of automotive sales and operational teams
Drive operational excellence and performance optimization
Develop and execute market expansion strategies
Establish performance metrics and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
Oversee customer experience and operational quality standards
Requirements:
Current Director-level position in used car retail or similar automotive sector
Extensive experience with leading used car superstores (Motorpoint, Big Motoring World, CarSupermarket)
Proven track record managing operations with 20,000-30,000 annual unit sales
Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities
Deep understanding of GCC automotive market dynamics
Demonstrated success in driving operational and financial performance
Experience in CPOV (Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles) segment
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field
Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills
Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
Proven ability to drive organizational transformation
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in GCC region
International automotive retail management experience
Advanced automotive industry certifications
