Position Overview:

Michael Page is seeking a Manager of Landscape Architecture to oversee the design and execution of landscape architecture and urban planning projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects align with goals, budgets, and technical standards while leading cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Design Management: Oversee all aspects of landscape architecture and urban planning design, ensuring alignment with project goals, briefs, budgets, and timelines.

Consultant and Team Coordination: Manage design consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure design services meet scope, vision, and technical requirements.

Design Review and Approval: Review, assess, and approve landscape architecture and urban planning designs, ensuring compliance with briefs, statutory requirements, and technical standards.

Leadership in Design Optimization: Lead design meetings, provide input to optimize designs, and resolve conflicts to ensure high-quality, sustainable outcomes.

QA/QC and BIM Implementation: Champion quality assurance processes and assist in implementing BIM and VDC strategies to enhance design quality and project management.

Value Engineering: Identify and evaluate opportunities for value engineering to optimize designs and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Stakeholder Management: Manage design inputs and stakeholders, ensuring timely and coordinated deliverables, and lead interactions with local authorities and business partners.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 8 years of experience in landscape architecture or urban planning.

Education: Relevant degree and post-graduate qualifications.

Skills: Strong understanding of local and international codes and regulations. Experience in managing design consultants and cross-functional teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Digital Proficiency: Digitally fluent, with the ability to implement advanced digital tools like BIM.

Competencies: Ability to navigate complex projects, ensure technical compliance, and deliver innovative, cost-effective designs.
