We are looking for a highly skilled and commercially minded Manager – Accounts and Tax to join the growing team at Ascentia based in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting and tax professional who is ready to take full ownership of financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounts management within a dynamic and fast paced corporate services environment.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations including the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax filings in full compliance with UAE tax regulations and international accounting standards. You will manage VAT compliance, corporate tax obligations, and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring budgets, supporting month end and year end close processes, and providing insightful financial analysis to support senior management decision making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in accounting and tax management, ideally within a corporate services, consultancy, or professional services firm. A strong working knowledge of UAE VAT law, corporate tax regulations, and IFRS is essential for this role. You should be highly analytical, detail oriented, and confident in managing multiple accounts and tax matters simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. Strong communication skills, a solutions focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment are qualities we are looking for.
