Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at our state-of-the-art meat processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance of plant equipment, lead maintenance teams, and implement preventive maintenance programs to maintain high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programs for all plant equipment and facilities

Manage and coordinate maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of production machinery and equipment

Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and emergency responses

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and other relevant quality control measures

Develop and maintain maintenance budgets, including cost control and resource allocation

Implement and maintain computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant efficiency

Ensure workplace safety standards are met and maintained

Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies

Train and develop maintenance staff on proper procedures and safety protocols

Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation

Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for equipment maintenance and repairs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in maintenance management, specifically in food manufacturing

Proven experience in meat processing or similar food production facilities

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations

Proficiency in maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance programs

Experience with HACCP and food safety management systems

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment

Knowledge of automation systems and PLC controls

Proficiency in CMMS software

Understanding of electrical systems and industrial electronics

Experience with mechanical systems and hydraulics

Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems

Required Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Strong organizational and planning skills

Effective communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations

Strong decision-making capabilities

Project management skills

Working Conditions

Full-time position based in KSA

Plant environment with exposure to production areas

May require on-call availability for emergency situations

Regular walking, standing, and physical activity required

Age requirement: 22-40 years
