Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee freight forwarding operations in our Dubai facility. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day logistics operations, ensure efficient shipment processing, and maintain high service standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding

Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)

Strong knowledge of international shipping and customs procedures

Proficiency in logistics management software

Excellent English communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily freight forwarding operations

Coordinate international shipments (air, sea, and land)

Manage customs documentation and clearance processes

Oversee warehouse operations and inventory management

Monitor shipment tracking and status updates

Coordinate with carriers, agents, and customs authorities

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and customs requirements

Manage team performance and workflow

Handle customer queries and resolve operational issues

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Implement cost-effective shipping solutions

Required Skills

Strong understanding of UAE customs regulations

Knowledge of international trade documentation

Proficiency in logistics and warehouse management systems

Experience with freight rate calculations

Strong problem-solving abilities

Team leadership and management skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Good understanding of supply chain operations

Technical Knowledge

Customs declaration procedures

International shipping documentation

Incoterms

Transportation management systems

Import/Export regulations

HSN codes and customs tariffs

Safety and compliance regulations

Additional Requirements

Ability to work in shifts if required

Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Good numerical and analytical skills

Desired Skills

Knowledge of multiple languages

Experience with dangerous goods handling

Familiarity with UAE ports and customs operations

Previous supervisory experience

IATA/Dangerous Goods certification
